Privacy Statement
1. Ephemeral Processing & No Training
Dictation audio and transcript text are temporarily available only for processing your request. They are secured in transit via TLS and handled in short-lived working memory, then discarded as soon as processing is complete, with no caching or durable storage beyond the ephemeral processing window. Your data is never used to train our AI models or third-party models.
2. No Content Monitoring
We do not monitor or review dictation content. Operational telemetry is limited to metadata needed for service limits, abuse prevention, reliability, and subscription administration, such as word counts, token usage, timings, and error states; it does not include dictation audio or transcript text.
3. Transcription Subprocessors
To convert speech to text, audio is transmitted over TLS to high-quality, GDPR-compliant transcription platforms such as ElevenLabs and Soniox. These providers process audio strictly to return a transcript and do not retain it for training. The resulting text is then refined by language-model providers (e.g. Google Gemini, Groq) under the same zero-retention guarantee. No raw audio or transcript is cached or durably stored on our servers.
4. Account Data & Telemetry
The only information retained centrally is your account identity (email) and anonymized telemetry metadata (such as word counts or API token consumption) strictly necessary to administer subscriptions, enforce service limits, or diagnose system outages.
5. Adaptive Memory (Can be disabled)
If your tier includes the “Spelling Rules” feature, the app learns how to correct terminology. This “Memory” is stored securely and tied to your account or team to improve accuracy over time. You have total control over this data: you can view, edit, or completely disable and erase it at any point under the “Memory” tab in your account menu.
6. General Website Data Collection
As a boutique offering, we rely on word-of-mouth rather than SEO tracking. We follow a “Keep it simple” philosophy, avoiding unnecessary data collection. We do not use third-party analytics tools, marketing cookies, or tracking pixels on our landing pages.
7. Email Communication
If you contact us via email, your address is used exclusively to answer your inquiry. Email correspondence is stored with our provider (Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace) and managed according to GDPR compliance standards.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to request information about any personal data we have stored about you, as well as its correction or deletion. To exercise these rights, please contact privacy_dictation@tosdra.com.
